Dubai to Host Global Government Cloud Forum 2025

Dubai will host the Global Government Cloud Forum on 21 January 2025 at the Museum of the Future, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council. Organized by the Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC) in collaboration with the World Bank Group, the forum will bring together over 350 delegates, including 100+ international government officials, 50+ global speakers, and 30+ leaders in government cloud technology.

The event aims to reshape the future of cloud computing, highlighting its potential to foster innovation and advance the global digital economy. Key topics include Artificial Intelligence (AI), IoT, Quantum Computing, Sustainable Cloud Solutions, and Cloud for Development, aligning with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 to establish Dubai as a global hub for technology and innovation.

Delegates will explore how cloud technologies can transform public administration, enhance governance, and support sustainable development. The forum will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, and case studies, covering multi-cloud strategies, data sovereignty, and the role of AI and machine learning in government. Attendees will gain valuable insights into successful cloud implementations, quantum computing applications, and disaster recovery solutions.

Breakout sessions will focus on emerging trends such as green cloud initiatives, AI-driven public services, and cloud security for the public sector. Experts will address regulatory compliance challenges and share best practices for safeguarding data in an increasingly cloud-driven world.
