Egypt: Trimble to foster tech-enabled construction at Digital Construction 2022

Egypt’s construction sector has experienced consistent growth. The improvement follows an increase in government investments in environmentally sustainable, energy-efficient infrastructure, which is driving growth in Egypt’s construction and infrastructure sectors.

Trimble, a construction technology provider, is taking part in the ‘Digital Construction Conference 2022’ in Cairo, Egypt, to raise awareness and encourage better adoption of technology in the Egyptian construction industry, thereby assisting in the productivity increase of these infrastructure projects.

Trimble’s experts will present and lecture on important topics to eminent construction stakeholders, including officials from the government and municipalities, major project owners, contractors, engineers, property developers, and other industry professionals, during the two-day event on May 24-25, 2022, at Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski.

Tareq Masri, Director of Sales and Channel at Trimble Solutions Middle East, will be a featured speaker at the conference’s leadership panel discussion titled ‘Formulating a Sound Digital Roadmap for an Agile and Profitable Construction Business.’

On the second day, Trimble’s expert Hany Ahmed, Business Development Manager at Trimble Solutions, Middle East, will enlighten the participants with his presentation titled ‘Trimble Digitization and Connected Construction = Confidence.’ The presentation will focus on connected construction, highlighting the various tools and possibilities for streamlining construction workflows. Connected Construction bridges the gap between people, processes, and technology, allowing everyone to make better decisions from the start. When problems do arise, you can identify and resolve them more quickly.

Trimble’s participation in the event will allow the company to not only showcase its technologies, but will also allow industry professionals to understand what systems and methodologies work best for different types of projects. Discussions will include new versions of Trimble’s Tekla solution that contribute to sustainable BIM construction practices, advanced MEP solutions for increased efficiency and time savings, and open collaboration through cloud-based tools for transparency and real-time data sharing.
