Genetec Inc., a global provider of enterprise physical security software, has announced the launch of the AutoVu™ ALPR Analysis Reports plugin. The new tool enhances ALPR-based forensic search capabilities in Genetec™ Security Center.
The plugin is designed to help law enforcement officers and investigators analyze vehicle behavior more efficiently. It allows them to narrow down suspects quickly by examining driving speed and identifying vehicle travel cohorts. As a result, it reduces manual data sorting and saves critical investigation time.
“This plugin gives investigators what they need to close cases faster,” said Steve Hins, Product Group Manager, ALPR at Genetec Inc. “With just a few clicks, they can spot patterns and behaviors in vehicle data that would otherwise take hours or days to uncover manually.”
The AutoVu ALPR Analysis Reports plugin includes two major features:
The plugin offers a faster way to pinpoint suspects in events like hit-and-runs or organized theft. It turns large volumes of ALPR data into actionable intelligence within minutes.
The AutoVu ALPR Analysis Reports plugin is available globally. It is offered as a paid add-on for Security Center and can be purchased through the Genetec network of accredited channel partners.
This launch strengthens Genetec’s commitment to delivering advanced tools that support smarter, data-driven policing.
