The HONOR Magic V6 is designed to make common workday frustrations easier to manage.

Most long workdays are not caused by too much work. They are caused by small interruptions around it. A low battery before the last meeting is one example. A file on the wrong device is another.

HONOR says the device takes a different approach. Instead of simply adding more power, it focuses on reducing everyday friction.

Consider a typical morning commute. A presentation arrives and needs a quick review. The Magic V6 has a 7.95-inch inner display and a 6.52-inch outer display. Both support up to a 120Hz refresh rate.

The inner display reaches up to 5,000 nits peak brightness. The outer display reaches up to 6,000 nits. This is particularly useful when working outdoors in bright Middle Eastern sunlight.

The device is also slim. It measures 4.0mm at its thinnest point when unfolded. Folded, it is 8.75mm thick and weighs 219g.

Later, at the desk, the challenge shifts to keeping track of information. Email, spreadsheets and team chat often compete for attention.

The Magic V6 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Its large inner display gives users more room to work across multiple windows. For example, an email can stay open beside a spreadsheet.

The Fast-Flex feature adds another option. Users can fold the phone to move into a split-screen setup. They can also launch an AI tool or a customised app.

Meetings bring their own busywork. Preparation, note keeping and follow-ups can take longer than the meeting itself.

To address this, the device includes AI Meeting Agent, which supports meeting-related tasks. AI Suggestions recommends relevant apps based on what the user is doing.

Google Gemini is also integrated. Cross-App Action lets users interact with supported apps using natural language.

Many professionals also work across different brands of devices. The HONOR Magic V6 is designed to work across devices, including Apple’s ecosystem.

Mac Screen Extension lets users treat the phone’s large display as an additional screen for a Mac. Mac Connected Files gives access to Mac windows on the phone’s larger display.

iCloud Connect lets users access, download and upload iCloud files through the HONOR file manager. Notification Sharing keeps alerts connected across devices. AirPods Connect makes it easier to pair compatible AirPods.

Battery life is another common concern. The device has a 6,660mAh silicon-carbon battery with 25% silicon content. HONOR says it passed TÜV Rheinland’s 24-hour battery test using the large inner screen.

Charging options include 80W wired charging and 66W wireless charging.

The camera system also supports work tasks. Users may need to photograph product samples, document materials or record social media content.

The Magic V6 includes a 64MP periscope telephoto camera with CIPA 6.5 stabilisation. HONOR’s AiMAGE Color Engine is designed to reproduce colours more naturally.

Durability matters as well, since phones are often dropped, carried in bags and used outdoors. HONOR lists the device with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance.

Its Super Steel Hinge features a 2800 MPa steel structure. It has been tested for 500,000 folds.

The device also uses NanoCrystal Shield glass. HONOR says it offers 10x drop resistance, 15x scratch resistance and 3x wear resistance compared with ordinary glass.

For long screen sessions, the phone includes nine AI Eye Comfort modes. It also offers 4320Hz PWM dimming and a low-reflectivity coating. These are designed to improve comfort in different lighting conditions.

In short, smart work is less about doing more and more about wasting less. The HONOR Magic V6 aims to reduce time spent switching apps, searching for files and managing battery life.

Its foldable display, AI features, cross-device tools and durability are all built around that goal. The aim is to get through important work with less friction and leave more of the evening free.
