Huawei will return as the Lead Strategic Partner of GISEC Global 2025, the largest cybersecurity event in the Middle East and Africa. The event will take place from May 6 to 8 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. It will welcome over 25,000 cybersecurity professionals from more than 160 countries.

At this year’s GISEC Global, Huawei will spotlight its AI-powered cybersecurity solutions. The company aims to support the region’s growing demand for secure, intelligent digital infrastructure. With the rise of technologies like 5G, cloud, and AI, the digital world is evolving quickly. This shift brings new opportunities, but also growing cybersecurity challenges.

Huawei believes that digital trust and strong security practices are essential. These elements are now central to national strategies and business operations across industries. According to Sean Yang, Global Cybersecurity and Privacy Protection Officer at Huawei, the company is committed to working with governments, enterprises, and industry bodies to strengthen cybersecurity at all levels.

Visitors to GISEC Global 2025 will be able to experience Huawei’s latest security offerings. These include AI-native security solutions on Huawei Cloud, featuring the 1+7 Security Defense System and the SecMaster cybersecurity center. Huawei will also present its Xinghe Intelligent Network Security, combining SASE and EDR within a unified architecture. Other highlights include multilayer ransomware protection and all-scenario data protection with advanced recovery capabilities.

Huawei will also host several events during the show. On May 6, the company will lead an executive boardroom session focused on AI-driven security. The same day, it will hold a Cyber Resilience Workshop with experts discussing topics such as vulnerability management and digital certificate protection.

On May 7, Huawei will organize the OceanClub Workshop on data protection in the AI era. This session will include a live demo of the company’s OceanProtect backup and ransomware solutions. Huawei will also host the Xinghe Intelligent Network Security Forum, covering secure access architecture and AI-generated threats.

On the final day, May 8, Huawei will present the Cybersecurity Industry Practices Forum. This session will bring together industry leaders, regulators, and scholars. Topics will include AI security, global cybersecurity legislation, supply chain protection, and ransomware prevention.
