The Intersec Awards 2026 has officially announced its shortlist of companies, products, and individuals competing for the industry’s top accolades. Winners will be revealed on 13 January 2026 at the Intersec Awards Gala Dinner, held at the Conrad Hotel Dubai.

Now in its fifth edition, the Intersec Awards have become a benchmark of excellence across the global security, safety, and fire protection industries. The awards cover 17 categories, reflecting the sector’s growth as organisations embrace technology, innovation, and leadership.

Dishan Isaac, Show Director of Intersec at Messe Frankfurt Middle East, reported: “Each year, the Intersec Awards highlight the people and innovations driving our industry. The calibre of entries in 2026 has been exceptional, showcasing advances in security technology, fire prevention, emergency response, and workplace safety.”

The awards celebrate rising talent and industry leaders. Among the highlights is the Rising Star Award for Emirati Talent, with finalists including Abdelaziz Mohamed (ADNEC Group) and Ahmad Alfardan (Dubai World Trade Centre). The Women Trailblazers in Security, Fire Safety, and HSE category features exceptional innovators like Hanan Almohammad (KIOSH Company) and Jazyah Aldossary (Saudi Aramco).

The Industry Leader of the Year award recognises visionaries whose contributions have elevated global standards. Finalists include Emanuel Jech (WSP), Konstantin Turuntcev (Event Concept Consultancy), and Dr. Shaikh Khalid Al Khalifa (Beyon Cyber WLL).

Fire and safety innovations are also in focus. Siemens Fire Digital Twin, Fike Blue Thermal Management Solutions, and NAFFCO’s Falcon 6 ARFF Vehicle are shortlisted for active protection. Passive solutions include Jotun’s SteelMaster, Siderise CW Perimeter Barrier, and TECFIRE’s ALUFIRE AS85 Door System.

In security and cyber categories, notable entries include LVS Equipment Trading’s LV STREAM, SwissCCS’ AirMarker, Resemble AI’s Detect Platform, and Gallagher Controller 7000. Projects such as Dubai Police’s Lost Passport Certificate Blockchain System highlight pioneering security measures across the Middle East and Africa.

Team and consultancy excellence is also recognised. WSP, Dulsco Group, and RAK Oil Services & Energy Co. are shortlisted for Best HSE Team, while First Bank of Nigeria and UXE Security Solutions compete for Best Security Team. Leading firms like AESG, PwC, and Cyber Cure are acknowledged for strategic contributions in fire safety, security, and cybersecurity.

The finalists were selected by a panel of 23 international experts representing five countries, including senior leaders from Dubai Civil Defence, NFPA, UL Solutions, IOSH, WSP, and ASIS International.

The Intersec Awards 2026 forms part of the 27th edition of Intersec, the world’s leading trade fair for safety, security, and fire protection, taking place from 12–14 January 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
