Saudi Arabia is set to host Intersec Saudi Arabia 2025 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RICEC) from 29 September to 1 October. The event will focus on security in the hospitality sector as the country records unprecedented tourism growth under Vision 2030.

Red Sea Global’s Group Head of Security, Tawfeeq Alsadoon, announced he will deliver a keynote titled “Securing the Tourism Renaissance: Integrated Physical Security Solutions for the Hospitality Sector.” He highlighted that Saudi Arabia welcomed 116 million visitors in 2024, according to the Ministry of Tourism, creating both opportunities and challenges for security.

Alsadoon revealed that major projects like NEOM, the Red Sea Project, Amaala, AlUla, and Diriyah demand advanced, technology-driven security. “AI, drones, biometrics, and surveillance systems are central to ensuring guest safety while maintaining seamless experiences,” he explained.

He emphasized the importance of human-centred design alongside technology. “True hospitality security is invisible. Highly trained teams ensure guests feel safe while respecting cultural sensitivities,” Alsadoon said.

The summit will also explore aviation security and entertainment venue safety, featuring a keynote on risk management by Andrey Reis, Director of Security Operations for FIFA.

Running alongside Intersec Saudi Arabia, the Fire Protection Summit will bring together regional and international experts to discuss fire safety innovations.

Bilal Al Barmawi, CEO and Founder of 1st Arabia Trade Shows & Conferences, reported: “Intersec Saudi Arabia showcases the Kingdom’s commitment to innovation, resilience, and human-centric security.”

The exhibition covers five categories: Commercial and Perimeter Security, Cybersecurity, Homeland Security and Policing, Fire and Rescue, and Safety and Health. It is expected to welcome over 27,000 industry leaders across 30,000 sqm of show floor.

Riham Sedik, Exhibition Director at Messe Frankfurt Middle East, stated: “Each edition of Intersec Saudi Arabia reflects rapid transformation and offers unmatched opportunities for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and business growth.”
