His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, reviewed the progress of the UAE’s new government framework project focused on Agentic AI, in the presence of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai. The initiative aims to transform 50 percent of the UAE government sectors and services within two years through autonomous execution and decision-making.

The review took place alongside senior leadership and officials. The project is designed to integrate advanced AI capabilities across government operations. As a result, it is expected to significantly improve efficiency and service delivery.

Sheikh Mohammed said integrating AI into government work is a strategic priority for the next phase. He highlighted that this direction aligns with the vision of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Moreover, he noted that the approach strengthens the UAE’s global leadership in advanced government models.

“In a rapidly evolving world, the UAE Government has chosen to lead the shift towards integrating AI into its daily work,” Sheikh Mohammed said. He added that AI is already supporting programme design, policy development, solution creation, and service delivery. Therefore, it ensures high-quality outcomes and continuous service.

He also emphasized the role of national teams in driving this transformation. According to him, their ability to work with future technologies will be key to achieving the country’s ambitions.

Sheikh Mohammed was accompanied by Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE Olympic Committee, and Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture).

Meanwhile, the project briefing was delivered by Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs. The session also included Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, along with other senior officials.

During the briefing, Al Gergawi outlined the objectives of the Agentic AI system. The system is designed to enhance efficiency and service quality by transforming half of government processes into AI-based models. These models will be capable of executing tasks and making decisions independently.

Furthermore, he stated that implementation has already begun under the supervision of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court. The focus is on identifying requirements and mechanisms to achieve a 50 percent shift towards AI-driven operations. This will strengthen the UAE Government’s readiness for future challenges.

In addition, the project will streamline procedures and accelerate service delivery. It will also improve the accuracy and efficiency of decision-making through integrated federal data and advanced digital infrastructure. At the same time, it aims to build national AI capabilities and enable more proactive services.

Overall, the initiative reinforces the UAE’s position as a leader in advanced, people-centric governance. The adoption of Agentic AI is expected to play a central role in shaping the future of government operations.
