His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, chaired the meeting of the Ministerial Council for Artificial Intelligence and Development at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi. The discussions focused on strengthening AI governance in the UAE across federal entities.

During the meeting, the Council reviewed the readiness of ministries and federal entities to adopt Agentic AI models in their operations. In addition, members assessed current preparedness levels and institutional capabilities. This forms part of ongoing efforts to enhance AI governance in the UAE across government systems.

Furthermore, the agenda included an action plan for implementing the Agentic AI project across the federal government. The Council also reviewed several existing government AI models. These evaluations aim to support consistent and scalable deployment of AI technologies.

In addition, policy proposals were discussed to encourage wider adoption of AI solutions. The Council also emphasized upgrading the skills of federal employees. This is aligned with international best practices and standards, supporting long-term AI governance UAE objectives.
