UAE Calls for Rapid AI Adoption at AI Everything Summit

The AI Everything Summit 2025 in Abu Dhabi highlighted the urgent need for nations, governments, and organizations to adopt AI technologies to stay ahead of evolving cyber threats. H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cybersecurity at the UAE Government, called for swift action, stressing the importance of leveraging AI to protect digital systems and combat cybercrime.

Held at the St. Regis, Saadiyat Island Resort, the AI Everything Global 2025 event brought together global leaders in technology, industry professionals, and investors, making it a major platform for discussions on AI’s impact on the economy and industry. The summit is organized by Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) in collaboration with GITEX GLOBAL, the world’s largest tech show.

Under the theme “Big Winds of Change. It’s AI in Everything,” the summit explored the revolutionary advancements AI is bringing to industries worldwide. During the event, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti discussed the UAE’s National Cybersecurity Strategy, focusing on five essential pillars: governance, protection, innovation, establishment, and partnership. He emphasized the importance of collaboration and proactive measures to integrate AI into cybersecurity.

“The vision of our leadership is to turn the UAE into an AI hub. Cybercrime is a global challenge, and AI is key to building the infrastructure needed to protect our digital systems,” Al Kuwaiti stated.

AI in Prosecution: A Step Closer to Decision-Making

During the summit, H.E. Salem Ali Juma Al Zaabi, Head of Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Prosecution at the UAE Public Prosecution, also shared insights into how AI is transforming prosecution. He noted that while AI is currently used for analysis, it is only a matter of time before AI will help make prosecution decisions.

“AI is already saving time in crime analysis. It’s not far from the point where AI will help decide prosecution cases,” said Al Zaabi, emphasizing the need for continued AI development in legal systems.

Global AI Showcase at AI Everything 2025

The AI Everything Global 2025 exhibition features over 500 tech enterprises, including SMEs and award-winning startups from more than 70 countries. The event also convenes 500 Chief AI Officers (CAIOs), 200 expert speakers, and over 150 investors, with assets totaling USD 70 billion under management. The summit serves as a key global platform for AI innovation, discussions, and investment, making it a crucial event for anyone interested in the future of AI technology.
