UiPath (NYSE: PATH) has introduced its next-generation UiPath Platform for agentic automation. This release brings together AI agents, robots, and humans into one intelligent, secure, and scalable system. The UiPath Platform enables enterprises to create, deploy, and manage automation with high flexibility and compliance.

The platform is now available via a free trial on uipath.com. Some features remain in preview and are expected to become generally available throughout May 2025.

Many businesses struggle to scale AI due to compliance concerns, vendor lock-in, and unreliable pilots. The UiPath Platform addresses these issues. It combines years of automation expertise with a new agentic architecture designed for critical enterprise workflows.

UiPath CEO Daniel Dines said the company is entering its second act. He noted that the platform unifies AI, robotic process automation (RPA), and human decision-making. This helps organizations achieve smarter workflows without added complexity. He also highlighted that the future of AI lies in orchestration and intelligence.

Agentic automation combines proven RPA, AI models, and human input into efficient and governed workflows. These workflows adapt and respond intelligently, making automation both powerful and trusted.

At the center of the UiPath Platform is Maestro, the new orchestration layer. It helps automate and optimize business processes end-to-end. Built-in intelligence and KPI monitoring support continuous improvement. This orchestration enables safe scaling of AI-powered agents across enterprise systems and teams.

The platform uses a controlled agency model to ensure that AI agents operate within strict boundaries. Enterprises benefit from strong governance, real-time vulnerability checks, and strict data access control.

UiPath CTO Raghu Malpani said the company is targeting more than 95% agent accuracy. He emphasized that reliability and trust are central to the platform’s development roadmap.

The UiPath Platform supports both low-code and full-code development. Developers can use UiPath Agent Builder inside UiPath Studio to create agents. Business users and experienced programmers can both build automations suited to complex needs.

Chief Product Officer Graham Sheldon said that over three million developers can now integrate agents into existing workflows. He also noted that the platform unlocks new customization options for advanced users.

The UiPath Platform supports integrations with LangChain, Anthropic, and Microsoft frameworks. It works with multi-agent systems across enterprise functions. The company also partnered with Google Cloud to support Agent2Agent (A2A), a new open protocol. A2A allows AI agents to exchange information securely and coordinate actions across platforms.

LangChain CEO Harrison Chase said the collaboration helps developers build agents with confidence. He confirmed that LangGraph agents will be able to operate within UiPath environments, creating more connected workflows.

UiPath also introduced a new solution called IXP—Intelligent Xtraction & Processing. It uses multimodal AI for classifying and extracting data from unstructured documents. It is suited for use cases such as loan origination, claims processing, and batch record management.

A new UI Agent is now in private preview. This agent can understand user intent and execute tasks across applications using natural language. Malpani noted that it does more than replicate clicks—it understands context and plans tasks.

The UiPath Platform has already gained strong adoption since the private preview began in January 2025.

Lawrence Fong, Director of Digital and IT at Cathay, said that UiPath supports the company’s digital strategy. He believes agentic automation will help organizations scale faster and make better decisions. According to him, these technologies are shifting automation from basic workflows to intelligent orchestration.

The UiPath Platform marks a major evolution in enterprise automation. It provides the tools needed to scale AI responsibly while empowering people and improving efficiency across industries.
