Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of digital infrastructure solutions, has introduced Vertiv™ SmartRun, a modular prefabricated system designed to accelerate data center deployment.

The all-in-one overhead infrastructure integrates power busbars, liquid cooling pipes, hot-aisle containment, and network support into one scalable unit. It reduces complexity and supports faster rollout for cloud and AI data centers, whether greenfield or retrofit.

Thanks to its prefabricated, plug-and-play design, SmartRun allows installation up to 85% faster than traditional builds. Data centers can scale beyond 1MW per day with just one crew.

SmartRun also simplifies engineering and labor by combining power, piping, cabling, and containment. It offers flexible configurations to meet different design needs.

To support advanced cooling, Vertiv integrated a secondary liquid network using prefabricated stainless steel pipes. This reduces setup complexity and supports efficient heat removal in AI environments.

According to Viktor Petik, Senior Vice President at Vertiv, the system provides operational agility and helps businesses scale without added complexity.

SmartRun is backed by Vertiv’s global service teams for installation, maintenance, and cooling optimization. This ensures long-term performance in high-density computing environments.
