Kicking off at St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi, the Ai Everything Summit opened with a packed audience and high-profile discussions. H.E. Faisal Al Bannai, Adviser to the UAE President & Secretary General of the Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC), highlighted AI’s transformative potential, emphasizing open-source innovation and global collaboration. H.E. Omar Sultan Al Olama, UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy & Remote Work Applications, underscored AI’s role in enhancing quality of life and driving economic growth.

AI’s impact across industries was a major focus, with thought leaders discussing governance, commercialization, and innovation. Jonathan Bronfman, Co-Founder of MARZ (Monsters Aliens Robots Zombies), showcased how Vanity AI is revolutionizing Hollywood productions like Spider-Man: No Way Home and Stranger Things, making film production more efficient while preserving creativity. MIT Media Lab’s Kate Darling explored human-robot collaboration, while Stuart Russell, AI expert from UC Berkeley, called for urgent AI regulations to mitigate risks.

The event also examined global AI power shifts following major developments like the $500 billion Stargate announcement and DeepSeek’s rise. Stephen Burt, Chief Data Officer of the Government of Canada, discussed AI democratization, while Ott Velsberg, Estonia’s Chief Data Officer, highlighted AI-driven economic growth, revealing data-driven companies experienced a 60% revenue increase in just two years.
