Axis Communications, a leader in network security and surveillance solutions, has introduced two advanced multi-door network controllers designed to offer seamless control for up to eight doors. The new AXIS A1710-B and AXIS A1810-B controllers simplify complex installations with onboard lock power, reducing setup time and minimizing installation complexity.
The AXIS A1710-B model provides full control for up to four doors, supporting eight OSDP (Open Supervised Device Protocol) readers and eight locks. Meanwhile, the AXIS A1810-B can manage up to eight doors, supporting 16 OSDP readers and 16 locks. Both controllers are compact and designed for centralized installations, ideal for security rooms and Axis or third-party cabinets. Their small footprint sets them apart from most door controllers in the market, making them a space-efficient solution.
The controllers come equipped with built-in lock power management and color-coded connectors for easy cable management. Additionally, they support both OSDP readers out of the box, with an accessory available for Wiegand readers. These scalable, future-proof solutions are suitable for both small and large installations, with the ability to store up to 250,000 credentials and 250,000 event logs on each device.
These door controllers seamlessly integrate with AXIS Camera Station Secure Entry or partner solutions, providing a comprehensive, all-in-one video and access control management system.
Key Features:
For added security, the controllers are protected by Axis Edge Vault, a hardware-based cybersecurity platform that safeguards sensitive information from unauthorized access. This ensures that cryptographic keys are securely stored in the onboard EAL6+ Certified compute module. The controllers offer flexible, secure authentication options, including multi-factor authentication for enhanced security.
Axis Communications’ new multi-door network controllers provide scalable, reliable, and secure access control solutions for modern security systems.
