Dubai will host the highly anticipated Light + Intelligent Building Middle East 2025 from 14-16 January at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Recognized as the region’s leading event for lighting and building technology, this year’s edition promises to surpass the record-breaking success of 2024, which saw 14,388 visitors and 417 exhibitors. The 2025 event will feature over 440 exhibitors from 33 countries, showcasing cutting-edge innovations.

Themed “Building Commonality Through Community, Creativity and Culture,” the event will emphasize collaboration, creativity, and cultural diversity, reinforcing its position as the premier platform for industry professionals to exchange ideas and insights.

Key highlights of the event include the THINKLIGHT conference, where over 30 regional and international speakers will discuss crucial topics such as the evolution of lighting design and the importance of uniting industry goals. The Smart Building Summit will explore the revolutionary impact of smart technologies, with sessions led by experts such as Ramachandra Yermal from Abu Dhabi’s Department of Government Enablement and Dr. Hossam Elshenraki of the Dubai Police Academy.

The summit will also introduce new guidelines from the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) on calculating embodied carbon in building services, alongside discussions on regulatory standards for smart buildings. InSpotLight, another key feature, will showcase the latest lighting designs, technologies, and trends, with finalists for the Light Middle East Awards 2025 ‘Product of the Year’ presenting their innovations.

The 11th edition of the Light Middle East Awards will recognize outstanding regional and international lighting projects, products, and designers, celebrating achievements that shape the future of lighting design and technology.

Light + Intelligent Building Middle East covers six core product categories: technical lighting, electric lamps and components, decorative lighting, architectural lighting, electrical engineering, and smart home and building automation. The event is part of the global Light + Building exhibition brand and is co-located with Intersec, making it the largest trade fair in the MENA region for building services.
