Veeam Expands Recovery Orchestrator to Support Microsoft Hyper-V

Veeam® Software has announced the integration of its recovery orchestrator into the Veeam Data Platform for Microsoft Hyper-V customers. The Veeam Recovery Orchestrator simplifies and automates disaster recovery (DR) planning, testing, and execution, enabling organizations to create, manage, and test disaster recovery plans seamlessly for quick and effective data recovery during outages or disasters.

Building on Veeam Data Platform’s renowned cyber resilience features—including malware scanning, IoC detection, and proactive threat scanning—enhanced Hyper-V orchestration offers faster recovery times, stronger defenses, and maximum uptime.

Available to Veeam Data Platform Premium customers, the new release now supports the orchestration of disaster recovery for Hyper-V machines, in addition to orchestrating recovery to Hyper-V. This improvement enhances data portability, making it easier for organizations to migrate or transition to new hypervisors, including from VMware vSphere to Microsoft Hyper-V. This support helps businesses build resilience at scale and ensures quick recovery of business operations in minutes during a disaster.
